Composer & Songwriter Nate Fenwick Smith
Award winning composer Nate Fenwick Smith has scored and provided music for several TV shows, indie films, and video games. His music has been heard in shows such as ABC's The Bachelor/Bachelorette as well as various other shows on A&E, Oxygen, and Investigation Discovery. In 2015 he received two Emmy nominations for Best Music Composition by the Television Academy Foundation for his scores in short films The Collection and Starlight, with his music in The Collection receiving the win for Best Music Composition. As a songwriter Nate has written, recorded and released three studio albums performing most recently as "I am Fenwick". In 2014 he qualified as a finalist in the world's leading international songwriting event, the USA Songwriting Competition for his song "Murder in the Atrium".
Before starting Fenwick Music Productions, Nate worked in Los Angeles as an assistant to composer Matt Koskenmaki (Koskenmaki Music/Vanacore Music) on reality TV hits such as Survivor, Apprentice, Hell's Kitchen, Ultimate Fighter, and more. In college Nate studied music, film, screenwriting, and audio production at Arizona State University and Mesa Community College. For grad school he attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts and received his MFA in Film Music Composition.
